Dosha

Okay, I’ve named her.  Dosha.  This is what I did on her last night.  I’m thinking she needs some funky children following her like ducks.  I also think I’m going to incorporate her into a mixed media piece on canvas.  Somewhere in the distance I hear my creative juices gurgling.

What the…..?!

I have no idea either.  She kind of evolved last night while I was watching TV.  I’m gonna make her a dress, I think.  Maybe give her a name.  I wonder if she’ll fit in my Hobbit House?

New Sandbox

We finally got the Sandbox set up yesterday.  Except for the sand.  Before we could initiate it with our afternoon snack, Cali insisted we have fresh flowers on the table.  So we did.  And it was good.

I Feel Sketchy

I did this sketch of my daughter last night….and another of a sad woman.  She looks mighty pathetic, eh?  I always feel TONS better after a good sketch.  And I’m still using the same art pencils my parents gave me in High School!!

A Simple Woman’s Daybook

Outside my Window….I am admiring the Zen rock garden that my husband has started for me.  I can never thank him enough for playing such a crucial role concerning my well-being.  He’s my rock.

In Memory

I decided to pick three random soldiers who were killed in action while serving this country over in Iraq.  I didn’t know them…..but today I honor and thank them for their dedication and service.  My thoughts and prayers are with the families of these fallen heroes.  Again…..we thank you.

Boo Hiss

]
I have debated writing this post.  Maybe because I’m afraid to reveal the human side of myself.  Maybe because I can’t think of much to say.  In a couple of weeks I will begin seeing a new Psychiatrist.  I will, once again, have to go back to a painful place and describe my chaotic life [...]
