I was trying to come up with a cute way to package my Easter cookies and this is what I came up with.   I had tons of wax paper left from Christmas baking, so I started playing around with it.  After several ideas, I settled on this one.  I simply took wax paper, folded it in half and stitched around the sides with an embroidery stitch on my machine.  I wasn’t expecting the “lacy” look….but was extremely pleased with the result. 

Even better….they look delicate and frivolous yet only cost pennies to make!  I’m thinking of putting some in my Etsy shop with some of the handmade notecards I’ve been working on. 

But first…I must get through Easter!
